Around 1am today, i was rushed at the Emergency Room of Metropolitan Medical Center because of severe abdominal pain. I really cannot bear the pain last night. I took Rabeprazole (Pariet), a proton pump inhibitor and Buscopan but the pain did not subside. I decided to go to the hospital at around 1am. accompanied by my grandma, we seek consult at MMC. The nurse inserted heplock at my left hand and injected me Famotidine. After an hour, the pain subsided. My blood was also checked for possible infection. WBC was increased not because of infection but because of episodes of vomiting last night. The doctor prescribed me to take Prevacid once a day for 2 weeks. I was discharged at around 4 am.
